ADULT-GERONTOLOGY ACUTE CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER
Colleen Dame is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in emergency, surgical, and orthopedic care. At St. George Orthopedic and Spine, she provides comprehensive patient evaluations, assists in surgical procedures, manages postoperative recovery, and educates patients and families throughout the healing process. Colleen combines the compassion of her nursing background with advanced clinical expertise and critical thinking to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
She is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal recovery and improved quality of life through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Colleen collaborates closely with the orthopedic and spine team to guide patients through both conservative management and surgical intervention when necessary, ensuring a continuum of care that supports the best possible outcomes.
Before joining St. George Orthopedic and Spine, Colleen served as a Staff and Charge Nurse in the Level III Emergency Department at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center. In that role, she led critical response teams and coordinated multidisciplinary care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs.
